This has been a tough weekend. Slowest run at parkrun, ate garbage all weekend and didn’t go for my long run today. I woke up feeling shit after a terrible night’s sleep. I did manage to go to the supermarket and make lunches and dinners for the week.
I’ve started a plan to get to the gym and to tone up a bit. Hopefully it won’t be too much on top of the half marathon training. I’ve also started to track stuff like measurements and body so I can at least see some kind of progress, be it positive or negative. I am feeling inspired and motivated, but I need that to last.
I’ve been bummed out about relationship stuff as well. I am going to try and stay off Tinder, Bumble etc for 2026. I need to focus on myself and my silly little hobbies.
I’ve been listening to audiobooks when running so I’m going to carry that into the new year.
I want to try and journal more next year too. I made a good start earlier in the year but like a lot of things totally fell off the wagon with it.
I want to try and clear some of the Gundam models I’ve gotten and done nothing with over the last year.
I also want to watch more movies next year as I feel like I didn’t watch anything new this year.
I will likely write this list again, but in my end of year, beginning of the year journal. The things I want to do next year:
- Read and listen to more books
- Run a sub 3 hour marathon
- Build my robots
- Watch more movies
- Join and attend a run club regularly
- Get my blog going properly
- Play through the Final Fantasy games
Should be doable, right?
